Thursday 22.01.2015 was held at ASEMPAL Headquarters the presentation of the Progress of the Municipal Plan of Housing and Land (PMVS) of almería. The participants were: Blanca Marín Valiño (Head of the Housing Service of the Board of Andalucía in Almería), José Mª López Cerezo (Director of the Municipal Housing Institute of Malaga), Pedro Gómez Calvache (Director of the Municipal Housing Company “Almería XXI”) and our mates Antonio Palenzuela (Architect on charge of the Plan in Ferrer Arquitectos) and José Ángel Ferrer (Architect and Director of Ferrer Arquitectos) as moderator.
After the presentation of the Plan and a short exhibition of the speakers, they started an interesting and large colloquium between the speakers and the attending public, who filled the room of ASEMPAL
Among the conclusions of the Journey, we have to highlight the importance of encourage, by the administration, the construction of protected housing. Also, they focused on the importance that the new housing have to cover the real demands, both rational and emotional, of the current society through of an adequate design that illusion and make happy and attractive the use of the housing to their users, using, among others, sustainability criteria in the ample sense of the word (environmental comfort, air quality, energy saving,…). The Plan anticipates, the creation of an ordinance in that sense. It was also of special interest, the vision that José Mª López Cerezo contributed, comparing the PMVS of Almería with the PMVS of Málaga in a clear and enjoyable way.
Ferrer Arquitectos, within its commitment as a socially responsible company, incorpored to the journey interpreters of the sign language, for attend to assisting people with hearing loss.
Finally, after the interest aroused by the attending public, the Town hall compromised himself to enlarge the suggestion term, to enrich even more the document currently on public display.
